Exhibitions

Throughout the 80’s and 90’s my process and bodies of photo-based work were about a questioning and deconstructing of ideas and materials. From the earliest bodies of work to the present, certain elements and questions reoccur. Grids evolved to signify fragments of time and space. Memory appears as a site in the imagination, illusory and distorted like the skin of the unconscious. Everything becomes part of a design, our body, politcs, aspirations and human relationships. The photographer has been depicted as a magician, a juggler of time and space. Dadaist influences (flux and chance) were also given expression. These were some of the threads that carried through many of the works I exhibited.
